Upon request, a plan of care can be faxed back to your office so you know exactly what's being treated and how. Just note that preference on your referral.
Eddie has been practicing physical therapy in Western North Carolina for over 20 years and has performed more than 50,000 manual therapy treatments. He was among the first physical therapists in NC to use dry needling, and Flat Rock Physical Therapy for Pain was one of the first private clinics west of Raleigh to offer cold laser therapy (2005).
Every patient is treated one-on-one by Eddie — no aides, no assistants. The practice philosophy is to achieve maximum results in as few visits as possible.
We warmly welcome TMD referrals from dental providers. Temporomandibular dysfunction often has a significant musculoskeletal component that responds very well to physical therapy — including dry needling, manual therapy, and myofascial release targeting the jaw, neck, and surrounding musculature.
If you have a patient whose jaw pain, clicking, locking, or associated headaches aren't resolving with dental appliances alone, a PT consult may be exactly what they need. Eddie is happy to co-manage these cases and will fax back a plan of care so you stay in the loop.
We also welcome plantar fasciitis referrals from podiatric providers. Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common conditions we treat, and physical therapy — including dry needling, manual therapy, and targeted soft tissue work — can produce excellent results, especially in cases that haven't responded to orthotics or cortisone injections alone.
If you have a patient stuck in a cycle of temporary relief without lasting improvement, a PT consult is a natural next step. Eddie is glad to co-manage and will fax back a plan of care to keep you informed.
